Customer Reviews
Good quality, minor shipping issue
I ordered the Homestead Turkey & Chicken Dry Dog Food for my pug. The quality of the food seemed really good, my dog ate it without any issues and his coat looked healthy. Shipping was free and generally fast, took about 4 days to reach me in California. My only small complaint was the bag arrived a little dusty, like it had been handled a lot. Not a huge deal, but worth mentioning.
Good deal for first time
I was looking for something better for my cat and saw Open Farm. I used a 15% off code for my first purchase of the Wild-Caught Salmon Dry Cat Food. The price felt pretty reasonable with the discount. It felt like a good value overall, especially for the quality of ingredients. My cat seems to like it and I didn't break the bank trying it out.
Consistent and reliable food
This was my fourth time ordering from Open Farm, and they've been consistently good. I always get the Harvest Chicken Freeze Dried Raw for my older dog. The quality is always the same, no surprises. Shipping takes about 3-5 days to my house in Texas, which is pretty standard. I like that I can always count on them for reliable delivery and a product my dog actually enjoys. Their customer service also helped me adjust my subscription once, which was easy. I keep coming back because the food works for my dog and the service is always solid.

Does anyone know if you can use one of those 15% off first order codes AND still get the subscription discount? Or is it one or the other?
how long does shipping usually take to, say, California? Need to make sure I don't run out of food.
Is Open Farm actually better than Farmer's Dog? Price-wise, they seem comparable but I'm looking for the best quality.
Has anyone used their 'refer a friend' program? Wondering what the bonus is for both sides.
Thinking of switching my dog to their senior dry food. Is Open Farm really 'human-grade'? Like, could I theoretically eat it? lol
What's the deal with their return policy? What if my dog hates the food and I've already opened the bag?
Hey, thinking about trying out Open Farm for my dog. Does anyone know if they actually offer free shipping? I'm in Dallas, TX.
I'm looking at the freeze-dried raw for my cat. Is it worth the price compared to, like, Stella & Chewy's? My cat is super picky.
